Volunteer

Give what money cannot buy: your time, your skill, your presence.

There are two doors into this work. One opens onto a movement of associates who need mentors and trainers. The other opens onto a classroom in Bagalur where 160 children are being educated free. Walk through either — we need you on both sides.

Two doors, one work

Choose where your hours land.

Both doors lead to the same rebuilding. The only question is whether your gift is best given to young adults climbing a ladder — or to children starting one.

Door One · The Movement

Volunteer with ARISE

ARISE — the Association to Rebuild India through Service and Entrepreneurship — runs clubs for every life stage. Its associates learn, serve and earn their way up a twelve-level ladder. They need people ahead of them on the road.

  • Mentor an associate one-on-one through a stage of their climb.
  • Train — teach a skill you have mastered: public speaking, finance, craft, code.
  • Advise a club as it plans and runs service projects in its community.
  • Give pro-bono skills — legal, design, accounting, medicine — where the movement needs them.

A few hours a month, online or in person. The application takes ten minutes; an ARISE coordinator calls you back.

Door Two · The School

Volunteer at Noble International School

A free K-12 school in Bagalur, Bengaluru, educating 160 children of multi-dimensional poverty since 2021 — and, through SIRI, lifting their families with them. The campus always has room for one more pair of steady hands.

  • Teach a subject — a weekly class in English, maths, science, music or sport.
  • Mentor a student across the ten dimensions of their growth, term by term.
  • Train mothers in the SIRI Matru Shakti programme — English, digital literacy, fitness.

Weekday mornings or Saturdays, on campus at Marenahalli, Bagalur. Tell the school what you can offer; they will find it a home.

Not sure which door?

A simple test.

If your gift is a profession — something you could teach an ambitious 22-year-old — start with ARISE. If your gift is patience — the kind that sits beside a nine-year-old until the sum comes right — start with the school. Many of our best volunteers end up doing both.

Still undecided? Write to info@rebuildindia.org.in or call +91 96636 08866, and we will point you to the right door. If you are ready for more than hours, see every pathway on Get Involved.

Your move

Pick a door and knock. It takes ten minutes.

The nation is rebuilt by people who showed up. Choose the movement or the school — either way, someone is waiting on the other side.
